Trial and Pricing

Transparent. Flexible. Guaranteed.

Scale your planning capacity confidently with our clear pricing model and trial you can grow without fixed costs or commitment.

Our Pricing Philosophy

How We Price

We price against real-world advisor capacity—so the total you pay to us stays below what it would cost to staff the same work in-house.

Capacity Reality Pricing Principle Outcome for Your Firm
We use this benchmark to define 1 Full-Time CFP® Equivalent (FTE) — roughly 10 new plans, 15 major plan updates, and 75 maintenance plans annually.
You only pay for the actual workload completed, not for unused staff time.
A full-time CFP® hire typically costs $125K+ annually, including salary, benefits, and management time.
We price our services so that even a full FTE through ElevateParaplan costs less than in-house.
You get expert plan quality at a lower and fully variable cost.
Workload fluctuates throughout the year.
Our model flexes with your demand — up or down — without hiring, firing, or training.
Consistent quality. Predictable costs. True scalability.
Efficiency should benefit both sides.
We price per plan, not by the hour. You never pay more if something takes longer — and we’re rewarded for efficiency.
A performance-aligned partnership that’s fair, transparent, and scalable for both sides.

Now that you understand how our pricing is structured around real advisor capacity and fairness, here’s how it translates into the actual cost per plan — simple, transparent, and built to scale with your firm.

How It Works

1. Discovery & Data Collection
  • The Relationship Manager (you or an Associate Advisor) conducts a Discovery Meeting to gather qualitative insights and build rapport. We help you build the questionnaire to align with your process.
  • Client submits financial data via a form or a planning software.
  • We communicate directly with the client via phone or email to ensure all data is complete and accurate.
  • Once the data is complete, we develop an initial retirement plan incorporating Monte Carlo and Guardrail Spending approaches.
  • At the same time, we conduct an Insurance Needs & Risk Analysis (life, disability, long-term care) so premiums and protection are built into the budgeting.
  • Our insurance needs analysis uses a tiered approach to help clients find the right balance between adequate coverage and manageable premiums.
  • We create a one-pager summary and an assumptions appendix, then review it with the Relationship Manager to prepare for the client presentation.
  • The Relationship Manager presents the initial findings and discusses up to three alternative scenarios with the client.
  • We prepare revised scenarios based on client feedback. We update our plan with the key findings so that the Relationship Manager can communicate with the client to help decide on the final scenario.
  • We answer client questions (phone & email) to support the client’s decision-making.

Once the client selects the final scenario, we optimize the client’s plan based on the final scenario. This process includes developing:

  • An accumulation plan: shows a detailed contributions strategy that uses various tools such as RRSP, TFSA, non-registered, IPP, insurance, etc.
  • A decumulation plan: covers retirement income structure (CPP, OAS, pension, insurance, investment draws), including the optimal timing for the CPP and OAS benefits.
  • Tax Strategies: We also identify any relevant tax strategies such as the Smith Manoeuvre, spousal loan, income splitting, and insurance-based strategies.
  • An estate tax plan: outlines estimated tax liabilities across different life stages and provides strategies to fund those taxes efficiently.

We do not participate in investment optimization, as this involves licensed investment activities. However, we can assist in creating a custom investment deck aligned with your firm’s investment philosophy as an ad-hoc service.

  • Once the final plan and optimization are completed, we prepare a client-ready Comprehensive Plan Package
  • The package includes an executive summary (key outcomes and next steps) and an appendix (detailed projections and assumptions).
  • We review the plan packages with the relationship manager to help them prepare for the client meetings.
  • We continue to support the client by answering any plan-related questions for one year.
