Get straight answers to common questions about how we work, our pricing, and what makes ElevateParaplan different.

Getting Started

  • We’re built for advisors who value financial planning and want to scale their planning capacity, maintain quality, and reduce the management burden of in-house hires.
  • Simply book a consultation so we can learn about your firm and explore how we can best support your planning process.

  • After the meeting, we’ll provide a six-month total cost estimate, including your trial pricing. Once you’re ready to move forward, we’ll customize templates and reports to match your firm’s style — then begin building plans for your clients.

  • Yes — new advisors can try us at 30% off for the first three months without a minimum. This allows you to experience our process before committing long-term.
  • We also offer a 100% refund on your first two plans if you’re not satisfied — no questions asked.
  • After your trial, a $1,500 monthly retainer applies. Any unused credits roll do not rollover.
  • Every six months, we provide a customized total cost estimate based on your firm’s client base and expected plan volume. This helps you plan your business cash flow with no surprises.

Services and Process

  • We focus exclusively on financial planning support — building comprehensive and modular plans (retirement, tax, insurance, estate), performing scenario modeling, and creating client-ready reports.
  • We don’t sell products or provide investment/insurance product advice, ensuring your clients remain fully under your care.
  • Please refer to our pricing page for detailed descriptions of each service.
  • We typically don’t attend client meetings, as our goal is for you or your relationship managers to remain the face of the client relationship.
  • Our goal is to prepare clear, detailed reports and review them with you or your relationship managers so you or the managers can confidently present the plans to clients.
  • That said, we do communicate with clients directly by email or phone when needed to clarify data or review technical details.
  • Yes, when needed. With your permission, we can email or call clients directly to clarify data or gather missing information.
  • You and your relationship managers remain the client-facing advisors, while we provide support behind the scenes.
  • Yes. We adapt to your preferred software and communication style, ensuring everything fits smoothly into your existing systems.
  • Our goal is to prepare and review the plan with your relationship managers at least two to three business days before the client meeting.
  • However, timelines may vary depending on when we receive complete and accurate data from your clients.
  • We have deep experience with Snap Projections, Adviice, and NaviPlan, and some experience with Conquest.
  • We’re also open to learning and adapting to your preferred software. Our per-plan pricing model ensures you never pay for any extra time spent on our learning curve.
  • We often recommend Adviice for advisors who want an interactive and client-engaging platform. Its DIY and guided planning features make it an excellent tool for lead generation, while still supporting in-depth, advisor-led planning.

  • Yes — we can share sample plans and report templates upon request after the initial consultation.
  • This ensures we tailor what we show to the type of clients and planning process most relevant to your firm.

Pricing and Value

  • We benchmark all pricing against the real cost of a full-time CFP, which typically exceeds $125,000 per year (including salary, benefits, and management time).
  • Our per-plan pricing model means you only pay for completed work, not idle time — typically saving about $40,000 per advisor per year, while gaining scalable, on-demand support.
  • We also provide a total cost estimate every six months so you always know what to expect for your financial planning expenses.
  • Each plan goes through an internal review process to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with your firm’s planning philosophy. We double-check all assumptions, calculations, and recommendations for consistency and precision.
  • We also review every plan with your Relationship Manager to make sure they fully understand the strategy and can present it confidently to clients.
  • And to give you complete peace of mind, we offer a 100% refund on your first two plans if you’re not satisfied — no questions asked.
  • All data is stored securely on encrypted platforms. We comply with Canadian privacy standards and never share information with third parties.

Investment and Insurance

  • All investment and insurance product discussions are handled by you or your licensed relationship advisors.
  • We support these conversations by preparing insurance needs analyses through risk, tax, and estate planning, and by helping you design investment decks — but we never discuss specific products with clients.
  • We do not participate in any activities that require investment or insurance licensing.
  • You or your licensed relationship advisors run the quotes directly.
  • We provide the insurance needs analysis that defines what coverage is required, ensuring your recommendations are fully integrated with the client’s broader financial plan.
